New for the 2025/2026 Tax Year

During tax season, we will be open Monday - Friday, 9-5, and Saturday, 9-2 (by appointment only). Alternate days and times by appointment only. We do request that you make an appointment! Please note that with Georgia's unpredictable weather, if Gwinnett County schools are closed for inclement weather, we will also be closed and will be happy to reschedule your appointment.

As always, you can send us COPIES of your information, via U.S. Mail (we strongly recommend Priority Mail), FedEx, UPS, or E-mail. Please do not send ANY original documents through the mail. If you have the ability to scan your documents, call or email us first and we will coordinate with you to use our secure portal. NOTE: The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) finalized a rule that changes how postmarks are defined and applied. Under the new guidance, most machine-applied postmarks reflect the date of the first automated processing operation at a USPS facility, not the date a document is delivered to the Postal Service. The date on the envelope is not always a reliable indicator of when the item was mailed.

For those who are unable to come to our office and require someone to pick up your tax documents, this can be done by calling the office and requesting the pickup. You are free to drop off your information. There is a mail slot in the door for after-hours drop off.

We are in a two-story office building, 2/10 mile west of the Grayson Highway/Highway 20 intersection, and 4 miles east of Lawrenceville Highway.

Additional Information

It is very important that you assemble all necessary documentation for your tax return. The Deduction Checklist on the Forms page can help you identify everything we'll need to complete your return.

In general, please bring any document that you receive marked "Tax Information" however, if you're not sure about any document, it's better to bring it with you than to have to make another trip!

It is recommended that you compare last year's tax return with this year's documents so you won't need to make multiple trips (which may delay any refund you are owed).

  • Be sure to bring all tax reporting documents (W-2s, 1099s, 1098s, K-1s, HSA contributions, gambling winnings/losses, real estate taxes, etc.) when you have your taxes prepared.
  • All 1099 forms (interest, dividends, retirement, Social Security, brokerage statements, unemployment, third party payers, etc.)
  • 1098 forms (mortgage interest, tuition payments, Health Savings Accounts)
  • Charitable contributions - for cash contributions you need receipts for any amount over $250. For non-monetary (items donated to Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc.) we will need dated receipts if the total amount is $500 or more. You must assign a value to your contribution(s) - we are not allowed to do it for you.
  • Forms 5498 & 1098-SA (HSAs and FSAs)
  • If you have gambling winnings, be sure to also bring your losses to apply
  • If you bought or sold a residence, bring your HUD-1 forms from closing and Form 1099-S. There may be deductible items on it. If you sold a home, we also must have your original purchase price and a list of all the improvements made/costs while you resided there
  • If you have many stock trades, please get us a copy of the broker's 1099 Composite form as early as possible as we will need extra time to enter each sale on the return as required by the IRS.
  • The IRS is phasing out paper refund checks. We will need your routing and account numbers for a direct deposit (this can be found on a check or in your banking app).
